The Enicar book is back! After selling out the first print of ‘Time for a change, discovering vintage Enicar’ in just 6 months, I decided to run for a reprint. This time, I did not launch a Kickstarter campaign. With the help of amazing sponsors and some fantastic Enicar collectors who want to share their grail watches with the world, I collected the necessary funds to get the reprint in motion.
Now, the latest version of the book is not identical to the first print. 85 – 90% of the content has been unaltered, but some significant changes have been made. Even though the first ever Enicar coffee table book received amazing response, I did see room for improvement, for instance in the photography department. Models that were not available to me a year ago, popped up and my excellent photographer Maarten Coolen created some fantastic visuals that spice up some of the spreads in the book.
Enicar expert Nico Henke, initiator of the website enicar101.com, not only provided the magical numbers to upgrade the Sherpa tool watch matrix, he also dug up new information about Enicar ambassador Hans Hass. And vintage watch collector and seller Yves Wenger (@chronyves79) tracked down one of the original Super Graph watches that went to the 1964 Tokyo Olympics!
To sum up the novelties in this reprint:
- New watch photos of iconic pieces, like the Super Graph, Sherpa Graph MkI, a 1934 chronometer and the double dial Admiral
- New spread dedicated to Enicar ambassador and Formula 1 legend Stirling Moss
- Upgraded Sherpa tool watch matrix
- New collectors’ pieces
- New racing adverts
- Easter eggs for die hard Enicar fans
The second print of the Enicar book is available now and ships worldwide! If you missed out on the original book, this is your change to get your hands on, quote Europa Star, “the ultimate resource on Enicar”.
