Ladies and gentlemen, we have done it! The Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the Enicar Book, has been successful. A HUGE thank you to all you incredibly generous backers, crazy vintage watch fans, Instagrammers, forum crawlers, bloggers, Facebookers and everyone else who made this great succes possible!
I am thrilled getting to make this book. First rendez-vous in Biel and Lengnau is already planned. In April, photographer Maarten Coolen and I will meet up with some of the great people I met last September, who helped me with my research and expending my network.
The Enicar book will be ready for shipping in December / January. The pre-oder option on the Kickstarter campaign page will be closed on April 1th. This is why I have restyled this weblog and added a modest store, so you can order the book here and check out through Paypal. I have also put up the book on eBay. Remember, it is not yet available, so by ordering the book, you’re only making a reservation. The production process will take at least another 6 months. I decided to keep the price of the book at €65, the same as during the Kickstarter campaign.
Be sure I’ll keep you posted on this fantastic adventure. Photographers Maarten Coolen, Geertjan Cornelissen and Nancy Ostermann will be my partners in crime while shooting a 1968 professional diver, a 1944 military watch and various interviews.
