Great condition Enicar from 1972

Here’s a watch with all the Enicar characteristics you could wish for: metallic blue dial, bold case and powered bij the AR1147 automatic movement. Considering the age, the condition is top notch!

The case of this Enicar measures 36mm in diameter. The edges are still razor sharp and there is only minor wear. The acrylic, domed crystal is in great shape. The crown is signed with the Saturn logo. The metallic dial comes with fat applied markers and applied Enicar brand name. The color of the dial sits between dark blue and purple, depending on the light fall. Hands are nicely detailed and the blue seconds hand gives the watch the perfect Enicar vibe.

Lug size is 18 millimeters. I have paired the watch with a new old stock brown leather strap with robust stitches.

This Enicar is more than 50 years old. It is running as it should, but the service history is unknown, so an oil change is recommended. A word of advice: don’t go swimming or showering with a vintage watch on your wrist. It is not waterproof anymore after all these years.
