This Enicar Sherpa Star has a 24 jewels AR1145 automatic movement and dates from the very late 60s. The watch winds and keeps time and the quick set date operates as it should. The gold-plated case diameter is 35 mm (excluding the signed crown). The sapphire crystal is perfect. On the case back, the original purple sealing is still visible, indicating that this watch was hardly ever worn. I would grade this watch as close to mint.
The watch comes with a dark brown leather strap (18 mm band width) and a gold color buckle.
This Sherpa Star is approximately 50 years old. I cannot guarantee the accuracy and I do advise having it serviced by a watchmaker if you want to wear it regularly. Another word of advice: don’t go swimming or showering with a vintage watch on your wrist. It is not waterproof anymore after all these years.
