50 shades of blue.
This Enicar Sherpa Date has a 27 jewels AR160 movement from the early 70s. The watch winds and keeps time and the quick set date operates as it should. The stainless steel case diameter is 37 mm (excluding the signed crown). Depending on the light and angle, the strikingly cool dial shows 50 shades of blue. The applied logo is also worth noting and so is the red secondhand that perfectly matches the red date.
The watch comes with a very nice dark brown leather strap (19 mm band width) and a period correct stainless steel buckle.
This Sherpa Date 45 to 50 years old. I cannot guarantee the accuracy and I do advise having it serviced by a watchmaker if you want to wear it regularly. Another word of advice: don’t go swimming or showering with a vintage watch on your wrist. It is not waterproof anymore after all these years.
